There is a young man in Virginia sitting behind tall fences and razor wire, guarded by men with guns, and never allowed to leave. I have a real problem with this article. The article referred to America as the land of the freed!!! It’s obvious they are not aware of what this country has been turned into!
All cynicism aside; it’s an OK article; but again I say, tell me something I don’t already know or something I haven’t already contemplated on sleepless nights.
Not in prison….but also not free. Brave new world of GITMO USA.
With the United States formerly know as “the land of the free” which is a great sound bite and marketing slogan and was perhaps once true has the largest percentage of its population in jail than any other country.
The United States was always a prison of consumption, corruption, and hypocrisy.
