VT: High court orders re-evaluation of sex offender’s conditions

MONTPELIER — The Vermont Supreme Court ruled Friday that some conditions placed on a convicted sex offender were overbroad and in some cases too restrictive because they weren’t specifically connected to his crime. Full Article

i really like the part where he says that there has to be evidence that a law is effective which is just the minimum threshold before any other challenges in order to justified and implemented they cant just throw laws against a wall and see what sticks. but of course we all know that is exactly what the government has been doing.
