WI: Lawsuit challenges Kenosha’s sex offender residency restrictions

The city of Kenosha’s restrictions on where registered sex offenders can live are so pervasive that, except in high-risk situations, police will not enforce them knowing it would effectively ban offenders from the city, according to a lawsuit filed this week. Full Article

When a city passes an ordinance so heinous that the police gave up on enforcing it, you know these ordinances have gotten ridiculous. It’s like the city of Kenosha was just begging for this lawsuit. The 7th district is next, so stay tuned

Oh my God! Because of the ordinance, a guy lives in his car with no place to go except to park at the parole office? Now that’s one sad state of affairs. At least the man’s probation agent has a heart
