Let’s do a comparison for arguments sake.

If a known drug dealer were to kidnap someone and murder them would the reaction be to change laws dealing with drug dealers? Should the answer be no then think carefully about the next question.

Why when a former sex offender (former because to be a current sexual offender someone would need to be doing sexually offensive things) kidnaps and murders someone is the push on sex offenses instead of murder?

Let’s say the drug dealer tortured the person they kidnapped prior to killing them and the former sex offender raped the person they kidnapped before killing them. Which is worse? Torture or murder? Rape or murder?

Chelsea King’s case should bring attention to where the Static-99 “tests” failed:

The man who murdered Ms. King scored a 2 on the Static. Even under the Static-99R, he still would have scored a 2! (For your information, a “2” equates to a “low-moderate risk.”)

Remove the Static-99R from the proposed tiered registry! The Static-99R is pseudo science that cannot predict human behavior!
